DosLauncher 1.0 A simple Windows utility which allows you to launch Windows programs from the MS-DOS prompt in Windows. To use: Copy the files into your path (ie your Dos or Windows directory) In Windows start the program DLAUNCH.EXE Select MS-DOS Prompt from your START menu, or MAIN program group. Then from DOS type LAUNCH followed by the name of any windows program. How it Works: The two programs communicate using the file C:\LAUNCH.TMP (this file won't take more than about 100 bytes). The DOS program simply tells the Windows program what to run, and the Windows program runs it. Command Line Options: When you are starting the DosLauncher Windows Program (DLAUNCH.EXE) you can use the following CLOs -i Hides the DosLauncher Window, but also stops it from quitting until you exit windows. -b Stops the Scottish flag from bouncing. DosLauncher is Freeware. I don't want any money...unless you wan't to give me it. All I ask for is a postcard or e-mail telling me where you live, where you obtained DosLauncher, and what you think of it. If you have any ideas for improvements please please send them. Please give people copies of this program...post it on BBSs...upload it onto the net...and so on... If you wan't to put DosLauncher on a CD I would like to know about it. However, always distribute all the files, in their original state. This program is (c). (c) Graham Stewart 1996 11 Bankfoot Park, Scotlandwell, Kinross, KY13 7JP, Scotland.
